The domestic garment factory workers said that the factories are starting to face the labor insufficient crisis due to the military conscription. It is known that the military is starting to list some garment factory workers as the potential military servicers including those who came to work from rural area.

“How can we be protected? Most workers from rural have went back to home due to the conscription and it can be worse in post Thingyan. How this issue would be solved? The crisis can even effect the factories to operate,” the workers said.

The workers are seeking for resolvents as they see the potential of unemployment, famine and stoppage of currency circulation
