According to the state-owned newspaper, The Mirror, the Yangon Region Investment Commission approve the business that will provide nearly 1,500 local job opportunities in July.

According to the description in the newspaper, a 100% Myanmar national investment for the hotel service industry and three companies in industrial sector with 100% foreign investment have been approved.

The types of jobs that will be available for employment are hotel service jobs, sewing various types of wearing apparels and cloths with the CMP system.

Currently, many internal migrants from various regions and states are arriving in Yangon Region, and the demand for jobs is high but job seekers report that the employment situation in most businesses is low at present.

"Now it is difficult to find a job. There are many people who want a job but it is more difficult to find people like us who have just arrived in Yangon. I just pray for more job opportunities," said a migrant from the Rakhine State.

Most businesses are facing difficulties and their ability to recruit new jobs is declining after the military coup. The demand for workers in workplaces increased only when the Military Conscription Law was implemented the recruitment rate has decreased again.
