It is known that the Myanmar Embassy in Thailand informed the family members to contact to exhume the body of Ma Chit Chet Zaw, who died after being severely beaten by her husband.

Ma Htet Htet Zaw died in 2024 due to her husband's severe beating. On April 2nd, she was treated at Buddhachinaraj Hospital in Phitsanulok and passed away on April 6th.

The Myanmar Embassy (Bangkok) notified that the body was moved to Mae Sot Hospital for the family to be able to receive the body. Since they have not been able to receive the body until now, Mae Sot Hospital has sent a letter to the Myanmar Embassy to contact the family and relatives or to proceed according to law.

The family members or those who are close with her parents and relatives, are requested to contact the Myanmar Embassy (Bangkok) through the comment box of the Embassy page to be able to carry out funeral matters.

Democratic Voice of Burma news outlet said that Ma Htet Htet Zaw who was working at Singapore came to Mae Sot, Thailand to see her husband and death after being beaten by him.
