According to the agency community, the two countries are negotiating to send Myanmar workers to China.

Currently, workers are only working in China with temporary passes through Muse and stay there about a week and they are starting to negotiate to send workers legally.

“The negotiations are not to work in the heart-land China. We are negotiating to send workers to economic zone in Yunan. The employers also want to hire Myanmar workers legally. The licensed agencies went to observe there and the authorities are also negotiating,” said an official from a licensed agency.

It is said that some licensed agencies have already received vacancies, and they are waiting for the consultation of the two countries to send workers. They said workers can earn about 1,200 to 2,000 Chinese yuan a month.

It is reported that the number of Myanmar nationals who go to work in China with official documents is fewer than those who are working illegally in terms of numbers.
