Labour rights violated at Sudey Industrial Myanmar CO, LTD

Labours said that there were labour rights violations at Sudey Industrial Myanmar CO, LTD which is operating at Ka Li Arena, Kalay Village, Bago Division.

There were no benefits in the work place and reduction of grade bonus for taking a leave. The labours said that they are suffering because of not allowing casual and medical leaves and reduction of professional fee and cutoff of attendance bonus and daily wages.

That factory which is operating with over 1000 labour power is owned by a Chinese nationality and manufacturing Korean cloths, shirts, pants, baby and adult cloths.

The labours said that there is no trade union formed within the workplace too.The labours said that the working hours is set from 7:15 Am to 19:00Pm but there have to start at 7:00 Am too.

Also, the lunch break is said to be 30 minutes but the days there isn’t exist, which means they have to work without eating.Demanding the standards more than the labours can manufact. Not hitting the standards makes them to work without eating. There are demands of 50 cloths for a labour and discriminations too.

“5 people working on the same point but the demanded standards are lowered for who those are comfortable with the supers and all supers, but demand up until 50 for those who are not. Therefore, days of hunger exist for that much demands and discriminations too.” Said by an anonymous labour.

Daily wages workers are appointed in the factory. There have to work from 7:15 Am to 4:00 Am Sunday including overtime from Monday to Sunday. As those days are continuous, some labours who can’t work the next day because of not getting sleep were told no need to come anymore.

Those fired labours are not getting paid for their services which means it is against the law.The labours said they feel humiliated as the supers and all supers who supervise are using in profanities, morally downgrading and swearing by looking the standards which displayed on the machine.

The professional fees for the labours are paid as grade bonuses A (30,000), B (20,000) and C (18,000) but only two in a cavity received and the one who received are not the actual proficient workers but the ones who are comfortable with the supervisors. Therefore, the labours said they want adjudicate.
