Some transportation businesses said on their social media pages that customers need their ID card and other additional certificates such as police certificate or ward certificate to buy bus tickets. But the people are having difficulties to get the required documents.

“Its not easy to get the certificate. Some wards don’t give anymore and some charge for it. It is too difficult to survive living in this country,” said a civilian.

There are many posts mentioning that the officials asked for appointment letter, recommendation letter, phone number and the address in addition of ward and police certificate.

The junta had stricted the people to travel after various conscriptions are witnessed in the neighborhoods and a ticket sale said that there could be many difficulties.

“The buses do not take full passengers anymore and sales is not a good business anymore too as the ticket prices are not stable. We have stopped it for a long time. It looks like we should stop permanently if they would continue to ask such kinds of certificates.

The highway transportation businesses are facing the gas price crisis and numerous charges on the route at each gates and the passengers are also facing the ticket price crisis
