Foreign embassies restrict visa application due to the raise of migration

The foreign embassies restrict visa applications as they were more people who want to leave Myanmar after the Junta announce the mandatory military service law.

The most migrated country from Myanmar, Thailand embassy started to restrict visa applications and the Embassy of Japan announced the information related to visa application as well.

“Local people want to leave the country before Thingyan and people massively queried in front of the Royal Thai Embassy. People are having concerns due to military conscription news after Thingyan so that they are many people trying to go to abroad,” said a educational consultant.

The Royal Thai Embassy also changed to Visa Appointment Booking Online (VABO) system from walk in system to  Visa Appointment Booking Online (VABO) system and 200 people are accepted daily for visa application before but starting now will only accept a total of 400 people including those who are accepted before.

The Embassy of Japan also announced the stoppage of hotline visa application due to excessive visa application and will accept only by the emails.

In Addition, there are many people who go to China with one week entry ticket and there are restrictions too.

The amount of people who went to go abroad increase after the military conscription news are stipulated and those who have financial difficulties also go to neighboring country Thailand, illegally.
