EPS-TOPIK exam which women are also eligible will start at April 30

The government's Foreign Employment Agency announced that the 16th EPS-TOPIK exam which women are also eligible will begin on April 30 to go to South Korea to work.

According to the announcement, the date for agriculture/livestock and construction activities exams will take place from April 30th to May 10th, and there are 4,779 people who will participate. 

Group 1 and 2 service sector tests where majority of women will participate is scheduled from May 10 to May 29, and according to the POEA's announcement there are 8,481 people who are eligible to take the exam. About two-thirds of the 8,900 candidates for service work are girls. Women were the first to be allowed, so they were exciting. A lot of people apply," said a Korean language school teacher.

Although the number of people who are destined to given pass in the service industry is only more than 3,000, the number of people who applied for the entrance exam is more than ten thousand, almost 9,000 are approved to take the test.

Those who are going to take the EPS-TOPIK exam are advised to make sure the date and time of the exam, and to come an hour before the exam with their passport and original NRC card.

The exam will be held at No(43) Ward, the intersection of Min Ye Kyaw Swar and Bo Min Yaung Road, Government Foreign Employment Agency office, Pang Long Hall, North Dagon New City Township. Men are instructed to wear shirts and longyis and women to wear Burmese traditional dress.
