Burmese workers arrested during Operasi operation in Malaysia

561 foreigners were arrested during the operasi (illegal foreigner arresting) operation at Samonyin, Selangor State, Malaysia including the Burmese workers, said the workers.

“Yes, the Burmese do too. Even more than 30 workers who were arrested together with Phoo Pwint Khaing and Ame Zan have not yet released. This one is also operasi. More than 500 those who didn’t take their documents are arrested,” said a Burmese person who is living in Malaysia.

The Malaysian Immigration Department announced that 561 people of Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Cambodia, Sierra Leone and Cameroon citizens were detained for various offenses founded after examining 752 people.

Illegal foreigners are being arrested continously all over Malaysia. The Malaysian authorities entered and arrested the ilegal foreigners in Samonyin, Baydoori apartments and the neighborhood at 11:00 p.m. 19th January.

Those arrested were Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Cambodia, Sierra Leone and Cameroon citizens and were arrested due to the complaints of the neighborhood.

It is known that those who have been arrested are being detained at the Immigration Department's Bukke Prison to take action.
