A woman claims to have frauded more than 1400,000 Thai baht from 40 Burmese workers and absconded

According to the WAG Worker Alliance Group, a Burmese woman who was employed as an interpreter at a chicken processing plant factory in Saraburi, Ayutthaya, Thailand has defrauded 40 Burmese workers working, out of more than 1400,000 Thai baht. 

It was said that the interpreter, Ma-----, frauded 25,000 Thai baht per worker; a total of 1,000,000 baht. 

In addition, it is reported that she took the workers' monthly wages, 11,000 baht per month; a total of 440,000 baht for 40 workers and absconded.

"We know that she is hiding inside Thailand by defrauding 1,440,000 baht. Please come and inform us If you find Ma Aye Nyein Zin, who defrauded the laborers and absconded," said an official from the WAG Worker Alliance Group.

It is reported that the native of the scammer is Minhla Township, Magway Division.
