A female Myanmar worker jumped off an overpass in Thailand

According to the Myanmar Humanitarian Action Centre (MHAC), a female Myanmar worker jumped from the Kethon Ban Phi overpass in Mahachai, Thailand.

The woman is Ma Zin Mar Win, a Rakhine woman who came to Thailand from Kyauk Phyu Township, Rakhine State, and is said to be about 25 years old.

It happened around 8:00 pm on June 9th, and she is currently receiving medical treatment in the ICU emergency room of Mahachai Samusakhun Hospital.

Regarding the current situation, Ma Zin Mar Win's husband told the police station that Ma Zin Mar Win is his wife and he only found out about the incident the next day and that he was very sorry.
