It is reported to Myanmar Labour News that the labor supervisor of each level of the Bego-based KFINE garment factory Verbal Abuse the subordinate labours. The factory labours say that most of the leaders who oversee the machine lines are swearing at the subordinates.

'They swear in every morning meeting. Abusing even our parents that makes us suffer. No one would love to hear that," said a female labour. The KFINE garment factory has around 20 machine lines, and each line has a supervisor (super). The labours said that one leader and four machine lines are supervised by an all super.
A total of 50 sewing labours and assistants are working on the machine lines, and discuss business plans in the form of a meeting every morning.

"In a morning which is not too far long, Line 10 Super sworn a young female worker insulting that she was born from unintegrated family. How embarrassed she would feel. She than left work. If the super and leaders swear, the words aren’t any rather than lower body parts" said a woman working at the factory.

The labours said that the All Super and Leader from line 10 , Super from Line 8 and the Leader from Line 5 cursed the subordinates violently.

“Some supers swear badly. They always use in profanities. Insult the families and downgrade by comparing with the body parts too. How young women could withstand. They all resigned. Furthermore, supers said as the factory told as they get paid three or four times more than average labours. The factory sides also favored supers who swear,” said a female labour.

Myo Myo Than said that although the supers do not intend to make some labours who are uncomfortable with them in the machine line leave their jobs, they may also speak in an insulting way.

Most of the labours said that even though the managers saw that the supers were Verbal Abuseing the workers, they acted as if they didn't know.

KFINE Garment forced some pregnant workers out of work. This is a factory that has been complained about for not paying specific overtime pay and not appointing probationary labours according to the specified month.

The labours also said that because there were such complaints, when the township officials of the Ministry of Labor inspected the factory, they were not allowed to tell about the factory's violations as the manager was near the inspectors. After this inspection, the Ministry of Labor took action with some articles that there were violations in the KFINE factory.

After the complaint and investigation, four young female labours in the factory were fired for making complaints about the factory, a labour who worked in the factory told Myanmar Labor News. The labour said that the factory interrupts the four women who were fired to work in the next factory.

KFINE International Garment (Myanmar) is located in A Wyne Village, Bago City Bypass Road, Bago. According to the website of Nantong KFINE, the company that owns the factory, it is located near the Pagoda, and operates with around 1,000 labours.

According to the workers, Bago Kfine Myanmar Garment can produce more than three million garments a year, mainly producing jackets, but they also sew British-based RESERVED brand.

Nantong Kfine, the parent company of Kfine International Garment (Myanmar), is a China-based company that has offices in some countries around the world and manufactures garments from five factories owned by the company.
