Myanmar Yong Jia Garment Color Correction factory paid the salary and the compensation

The employer Myanmar Yong Jia Garment Color Correction Co.,Ltd which located at Nawaday Villa, Hlaing Thar Yar Township who was fleeing gave the salary and the compensations of the workers.

The workers sent file mails to the department of labor, department of labor relations to the  labor office and the representative of the employer arrived on 5th April to give compensation by seniority and the notice fees.

“They give 675,000 kyats for Ma Zin Mar Htwe, Ma Wut Yee Zaw and 260,000 kyats for Ko Pyae Sone Aung as compensations and notice fees,” said a persone who is close to the workers.

And they give the remaining overtime wages of 547,500 kyats all together for 3 of them at 4th June 2024 with mutual agreement and signed a contract which include the letter head of the factory.

The factory had a dispute with the overtime issue and the interpreter Ma Thu Zar Hlaing paid the workers March salary near the factory in the morning of 2nd April, 2024 around 7:00 am and the told that “The employer assigned her to give the salaries, the factory is closed down and the employer also dismissed,” Ma Thy Zar Hlaing told the workers.

Workers come seek for help at STUM to get their remaing legal notice, compensation and other wages as the factory will close for permanently.

The employer dismiss the workers in the evening of 20th February 2024 around 5:30 pm on the grounds that they don’t work overtime and they again promised that discriminations in the factory will be eliminated and the workers will be re-hired when they negotiated at the township meditation court. And they decided to close down the factory after the agreement.
