It is reported that the first negotiations began on August 21 regarding the workers who left work because they had to work overtime for free at Jia Xin (Myanmar) factory which locates in War Ta Yar Street 2, War Ta Yar Industrial Zone, Shwe Pyi Thar Township.

 Nothing updated about negotiation. The same as before. Today is the first time negotiating. We will negotiate at  Daperment of Labour. At the moment, it doesn't seem like they will accept. We will negotiate it for three times as usual of Daperment of Labour. They don't seem to accept it anymore. Because the problem with each other has increased a lot," said a person close to the labours.

It is reported that 12 workers, including the Super and Leader, left the workplace on 12-8-23 because the workers of the factory could not continue working overtime for free OT.

In addition, among the many violations in the factor, they violate the labours as followings:

1- The HR manager alone handle the tasks and decisions as the individual take the role of both interpretation and production.

2. Forced to work without OT pay;

3. Signing the labours’ sign om the resignation paper without letting the individual know.

The factory is currently contract manufacturing a Japanese brand from another company and it is reported that there is a need to monitor and enforce the violation by the factory that ordered it.
