We are workers at Denko Petrochemical Management company. The company is located at Plot No. (1/Kha), Shwe Lin Ban Industrial Zone, Hlaingtharyar Township, Yangon.

Working hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There is a one-hour lunch break. We are required to work on Saturdays, but no overtime pay is given for the half-day.

Casual leave is not granted. When we take service leave, it is offset by working overtime on Sundays. When the year ends, remaining leave days are neither informed to us nor granted as benefits.

Only workers are losing these benefits. Senior staff, however, are receiving those leaves. We are facing discrimination. Labour laws are not being followed and are being violated.

We hereby inform the relevant authorities and request assistance.
